Kain White.
(b. 1981. Lives in Victoria, Australia.)
Recent highlights; Kain has displayed work in Bendigo art gallery, Daylesford Pantechnicon Gallery, Castlemaine Art gallery and Melbourne Fitzroy gallery. He was awarded Bendigo’s RAW Arts prize in 2005 which is a prize given to promising artists below the age of twenty six. Recently Kain was involved in a group exhibition in Bendigo titled ‘Light’. This show focussed on three artists’ interpretations of Light as a concept. He has had multiple entries accepted to the Bendigo works on paper prize and also had an entry in the 2007 James Farrell self-portrait prize. Kain has permanent representation at the Pantechnicon in Daylesford. Kain’s work has permanent residence in the Bendigo council. Kain has also displayed work in a group show called “More Visions” and is involved in an upcoming show in Sydney’s Global gallery called “The Populous Cast”. He has recently been awarded the "Highly commended- Best of show prize" Which was judged by Terry Jarvis.
